Advanced Print Module for Unipos PRO

Good news for Unipos PRO users: the advanced print module is here!

In the management page, choose Settings → Printer

  1. Give your ticket design a name.
  2. Start the configuration.
  3. Link the printer(s) on which this ticket should be printed.
  4. Don’t forget to confirm the settings.

Configuring a ticket is very straightforward. You can enable or disable data fields, adjust sizes, set background colors, move elements up or down, activate sorting, and much more. Whenever you change a setting, you immediately see the result on the preview ticket on the right. Convenient, right?

  1. The system detects the printers connected to the POS.
  2. Select the driver (for a USB printer this is usually the generic USB driver).
  3. For a network printer, enter the IP address here.
  4. Enter the driver for the network printer.
  5. The port is automatically suggested.
  6. Don’t forget to save the settings by confirming.

Once the printers are configured in the management page, you can design and assign ticket templates. These templates are given a name, configured, and then linked to one or more printers.

  1. This opens an overview of all printers connected to the POS.
  2. Use this button to select a specific printer.
  3. Don’t forget to save the settings.

The system will establish a connection with the linked POS printers. You can then complete the displayed information as follows:

One or more printers can be connected directly to the POS. From this setup, you can manage several settings and print standard (VAT) receipts and/or work tickets.

From version 1.4.19 onwards, you can add the advanced print module to Unipos PRO, giving you unprecedented flexibility to fully customize your work tickets to your exact needs.

If you want to check which printers are connected, you can do so on the POS via Manager → Settings → Printers, as shown in the example below.
